Here in Ontario, so far I have heard no official word of production, or production timelines, let alone pricing. I call the closest dealer every few weeks, hoping.....
I currently drive an FJ Cruiser, and am prepared to pay a somewhat comparable price to that vehicle, but I hope that it is significantly less with FWD or AWD.
The sales guys know I want the first one in Ontario.....if it's the silver of the prototype pics. Every time I call or visit I offer to leave a deposit, but no takers yet.

I haven't even really considered other colors than silver. I guess black would look good. Maybe a metallic green too.

I'm expecting pricing to be pretty reasonable too. It's aimed at younger people so they can't make it pricey.

Being a truck they might introduce new colors in addition to some of what they already have, so i'll be looking out for those, just not sure what more they need.

I would guess any new colors would just be offshoots of silver or white. Sad but true.

Being a sporty truck they might do something special, like Yellow, Red, etc. Even truck makers of bigger trucks have been bringing on more stand out colors.

It just looks to me like they are going to stick with the metallic finish which doesn't go as well with bright color in my opinion.

I'd pay in the $30-35K with all the options found in a Tucson AWD Limited - Ultimate package. If it cost more than that I'd probably just pay $40K and get a nice Colorado. Or pass on a truck and just get a Tucson.

You might be in luck since Hyundai has been good with adding features (from what i've seen) and being a competitive market, they might have to do that, just to ensure the initial year goes well to start the momentum.

It will probablybe more then we want to pay ,around here the dealers have something they call a " Hard to obtain fee " ,I believe it was like $795 on a supercharged Nissan Frontier ,they priced the Frontiers so high for that little nominal engine upgrade ,I couldnt afford one .Some of the people bought those SC Nissans and were too tight to put the recommended fuel in them . Nissans , stingy engine policy has kept me from being a repeat customer ,they finally started putting decent power in the Frintiers ,by then ,however ,I good get something else cheaper .Nissan acted for ages as if Toyota was its only competition ,I owned 3 new Nissan trucks ,but finally had to go to something else to get a little power ,now they are too expensive . (at least around here )

One other thing I hope the power to weight is at least 17 to 1 on these new Santa Cruz ,so you can keep up with traffic (if its a dog ,I wont bother getting one )
