I wouldn't care for a front folding seat but if we get it, why not, plus I wouldn't have much use for it anyways.

In bigger trucks like the F150 and the like it's great for contractors, fold down passenger seat and you instantly have a table

With flat folding front seat would give you a nice sized (albeit L-shaped) interior cargo area. The suicide doors would also give excellent access. With a split folding rear seat, if you need to carry something larger that you don't want in the open bed, but for some reason you need to have a seat open in the rear (for a child that shouldn't be in the front seat for example), you will have a nice sized area along the passenger side.

With a cover over the bed, what ever you'd want to put in the cabin that is that big can go in the bed.

Not if its too tall to fit under the cover and you don't want it outside unprotected from weather, theft, etc.

True, just need to figure out those limitations of the bed but for the most part i doubt it'll be much of a problem.

Another thing to be discussed is tonneau covers.

A tonneau cover is supposed to be built in. It will be interesting to see how Hyundai integrates it into the design.

I doubt come production they offer it with a built in tonneau as standard kit. I can see an integrated tonneau being on the option sheet and traditional ones in the accessory list...

It would be a particularly useful feature for the SC since it will mostly be used in the city.

Yes, those mounting points are necessary.

The least they can do is include those points and either create a cover themselves that's optional and/or leave it up to some aftermarket companies.

And thats why Hyundai would be foolish to offer a tonneau as standard kit. Its the algebra of need, and accessories are usually pure margin for them compared to the razor thin takeaways on mainstream models...
