Hello

Hey everyone. Just joined up as I have heard that Hyundai may is making some progress with development of the Santa Cruz. Very eager to see what they can deliver with the production model. Hope a lot of the design cues from the original concept make their way over.

I'm currently driving a Tacoma and can't wait for something from Hyundai.

My only hope is the new Palisade's design rubs off on the Santa Cruz to some extent, its a gorgeous SUV in a segment not far off from this pickup.

Welcome to the forum Wolke22. I think with all the new midsize's coming to market this year, Hyundai has realized that they don't want to be too late to the party. New Ranger is positioned to get a lot of early interest.

They'll essentially be leaving money on the table and that will make shareholders look their ****

I'm new here too, but glad to see that we've got some active members still lurking around. None of the newer mid sizes that are coming to market are really all that compact. I want something more manageable and I don't need 7,000lbs of towing. Welcome.

Its in Hyundai's best interest to compete on every level. This pickup segment is like being at a buffet that's always being replenished.

Thanks for the welcome gents, glad to be a part of the discussion. Been very impressed with the progress that Hyundai has been making and even their new EV models are some of the best on the market.

The need for models like the Santa Cruz are only growing and can be said they needed these yesterday!

Losses are racking up, recent reports are showing Hyundai has some work to do.
