Question:
I read in the 2025 Santa Cruz XRT has sport tuned suspension on it.
What exactly does Hyundai mean with their Sport tuned suspension?

I was thinking coil-over shocks and stronger sway bars but I could find nothing about them

I’m not 100% sure but there is a ride difference between the 2025 XRT and limited. I don’t know if it’s suspension or the fact that the xrt has smaller 18” wheels with larger all terrain tires instead of 20” wheels and lower profile all seasons.
Yes RXT has the 18" as does the other models have and only the limited has 20" and more features but no where does it specific state what exactly is their sport tuned suspension.
I know "coil-over shocks" would greatly help but it is not stated so I doubt they have them.

I’m interested in figuring this out as well. I’m not sure what differences are in the trim suspension but I know the fronts are macphearson design (spring over shock/strut) and the rear end is a separate shock and spring design. All I know is that I plan on using the GR light suspension kit from flatout suspension. They’re adjustable suspension lift. I believe they make a lowering kit as well
Those GR lite suspension kits look awesome.
After you install them on your Santa Cruz, let us know how things have changed of better or worse?

RXT? Is that a Mexico-only model?
It wasn’t until 2005 that Hyundai opened its first (and only) US manufacturing facility in Alabama. They invested $1.8 billion to build this new factory, which will assemble Elantra sedans, Santa Fe and Tucson SUVs, and the Santa Cruz Sport Adventure Vehicle. The factory has over 3,000 employees.

Hyundai also manufactures engines in the United States. These engines are used in Hyundai vehicles as well as in the Kia plant in West Point, Georgia.
