For anyone with the smaller display does it seem like there’s a matte screen protector over it? I could swear there is and can even see the “edges” however so far impossible to remove.

Yes, mine is still on it. The top right corner is peeled off a bit so you can easily remove it. Maybe the dealership removed yours already?

This isn’t the clear one that covered it initially but under that seems like a secondary matte screen protector ¯\(ツ)/¯
