Android Auto is getting a major UI update

Great timing with the April update giving Android Auto access to the complete screen real estate. It looks like widescreen is still a multi-pane approach. I really hope you can swipe to collapse the two smaller panes to give nav the full screen when using the car radio.

They do. Wireless AA is available on the Santa Cruz, and there are several Bluetooth dongles available to get this option if your vehicle does not support it.

You purchase a dongle that plugs into the USB port that you normally plug your phone into to use Android Auto.

You may have to go into the settings for AA and turn on wireless mode. I also use Adguard and have to whitelist AA so it will connect

Do you have a Limited SC or a different trim level? The Limited does not have native wireless Android Auto.

I have the SEL Premium. My apologies, then the dongle would be the only solution

You should have the wireless android auto in your SEL Premium. You have to enable it through the touchscreen.

You also have to check and see if your phone supports android auto wireless connection.

Found an interesting Android Auto bug: Added a few tunes to what I keep on my phone and removed some I no longer wanted. The old ones stayed in AA on the car and the new ones did not appear. A reboot of the phone resolved the issue.
