Check the underside of the hood, looks like a bumper for where the hood makes contact with the body.

Kinda looks like a plug on the interior of the doors, too. But the top, flat part is too narrow compared to those.

All else fails, I'd highly recommend you pay better attention to your uber fares...While it may not fit in yours, it may be a perfect fit in someone else's?

That's what it is though. Possibly an extra that fell during construction and didn't show itself till you found it.

Sell it on eBay! OEM factory part SUPER RARE !

I thought of this too... Definitely fell from above which I would indicate possible the engine bay area.

I made a comment that could have been received as inappropriate and snarky and then I deleted it quickly. The forum has enough incivility at times and I was adding to it. I value everyone on this forum and the comeraderie here. I will do better.

Thank you childoffire79. I try to write replies so there is no ambiguity, but I’m not always good at it. Writing is part of my current job. I write technical incident and root cause analysis documentation. I also had experience earlier in my career writing patent claims. Sorry if my replies are sometimes heavy. 🙂
