My climate control screen, not the actual screen, but the piano black touch control screen on my Santa Cruz Limited has a bunch of swirl marks and scratches on it. it has pretty much became an eyesore and I’m having trouble living with it. I know that no matter what scratches will happen, the swirls are really bad from using a too abrasive scratch remover on the surface. I learned my lesson from that. Is it possible to replace that black piano trim piece that covers the entertainment screen and the climate controls? or is there another approach that would safely remove those swirl marks without risking ruining the touch sensitivity of the screen? Anybody that can give any helpful advice it would be really much appreciated. Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing back from you.

I was vacuuming the dust off the screen in mine shortly after I got it and didn’t realize the plastic tip on the vac nozzle wasn’t perfectly smooth… left a couple of scratches… I tried everything including the plastic polishes off Amazon and unfortunately you can still see them a little… I just make it a point to re-polish every so often when I wash the car and hope one day they will be completely gone… In the meantime, using the polish does shine it up so nice that I don’t notice it so bad anymore… I also now keep a tack cloth in the glove box to quickly clean off the dust that never ends on the infortaiment panel… Good luck with yours!!
