Is it me or does the Santa Cruz tell you....MPG for that start-up.....Avg for that tank.....and overall Avg. It seems that way with my SE using my steering wheel button I can scroll to get all three different MPG numbers.. 24.6 avg. Since fueling(reset) 23.1, and the one that starts from each start-up ranges from 0-24mpg depending on the drive type and time on that startup

I saw that in the manual and think its brilliant... its really the way most people think of fuel usage. You get per drive (since the vehicle was started, IE: my drive to work), per fill up (since I last got gas) and running total (life time average). Way better then the normal trip A and trip B you have to manually reset. I've always tracked MPG on a per fill up level and the SC does this automatically which is nice.
