I got a Curt Hitch from U-Haul (#13486). Got one side on loosely, the other (over the muffler) seems too far away from the mounting holes, so that I can not get the bolts to thread. Is this how it's supposed to fit?? The left side is only on loosely, so that the plate on the hitch is not in contact with the frame. Maybe U-Haul sent me to wrong hitch? Seems like the hitch mounts should fit between the frame rail fairly tightly. Help is requested ASAP!!~

Just my 2 cents here. I just installed the OEM tow hitch and wiring harness on my SC Limited last night. The hitch lined up very well with all the holes. However it did take me awhile to install since it was heavy and I was working alone. I would suggest getting the OEM tow hitch, work with a partner, and remove the muffler. It’s very difficult to fully torque the bolts on the right side with the muffler hanging in the way. I know the OEM hitch is expensive, but the fit is exact. Enjoy your hitch, which ever one you decide to get.
