Has anyone seen another SC on the road?

I am not taking about at a dealership sitting on the lot (rare enough) but just another random owner driving by?

Today I saw an Accelerate Yellow (that highlighter maker color) convertible C8 in a parking lot and was reminded how rare spotting one in the wild still is nearly two years after the launch. When my wife had her super rare Volvo C30 I could count on one hand how many I encountered in traffic.

Not on the road, but in the same gym parking lot found one, and of course I parked right next to it

Just the black SE that was at the dealer the afternoon I closed the deal on mine.

5 Hyundai dealers in the state and they may have had 1 or 2 SCs. The biggest dealer has had 3 so far

35k plus square miles, nope

Pulling into the interstate today I had the pleasure of tailing a Ferrari 430 or McLaren I think. Same color as my Hampton Gray; in my mind's eye I bet the other motorist might have had some inner conflict about what was more interesting to look at. Floored it to close the range and enjoyed the turbo on the SC. It can move!

Crackle and pops of the V8 in front definitely commanded my attention, glad there was a truck to keep it hemmed in for a min

Nope. I live in a small town and I'm pretty sure that I have the only one. We don't even have a Hyundai dealer here.

This conversation reminds me of the early days of the Element.

Here's a couple things we did, "back in the day"

1. Print up a few notes which say something like:
"Hi, I see you have exquisite taste in vehicles!
Please join us at www.santacruzforums.com to swap tips and pix."

2. Start a forum thread here for your local area. Maybe, have an annual leaf-peep convoy, oceanside picnic, historic trail ride, whatever...

I saw another SC down the road from me but I was in another car and it was from a distance! That was the only one so far after 6 weeks of ownership.

I was fortunate to snag the first SC in Pittsburgh (Phantom Black SEL AWD) and last week driving thru residential area here saw a Blue Stone in a driveway. (My wife wanted blue initially but seeing its hue on a cloudy day she was glad we got black. Nothing against the blue, for all SCs should be loved equally without favoritism.)

The only other one I've seen was the HMA-owned demo at the dealership the day mine came in, and it had been moved to another dealership by the time I went in to get mine 3 days later.

I have a friend who posts pics of cars/trucks on his FB page that posted one he saw on the freeway last night:

Yeah, I drive from South Irving (Loop 12 & Irving Blvd/Hwy 356) to North Dallas (75/Central & Park Lane) every day and have yet to see one.

I take Irving Blvd to Commonwealth to Stemmons south to Woodall Rogers to Central to get to work.
My route home is (usually) Walnut Hill to Inwood to NW HWY to Webb Chapel to Shorecrest to Harry Hines to Regal Row to Irving Blvd.

There is actually another white on up the street from me. I noticed it the day that I got mine. I say another waiting in a left turn lane and pulled up next to it. I beeped the squeeky toy horn a couple of times and the driver looked at me like had a cleaver stuck in the side of my head. Lol might be a different one or not. But I haven't seen any others out and about.

Perhaps you looked like an ordinary Tucson beside them (except for the cleaver, of course.) You should have raced on ahead to show them your tailgate.

You are right Toadvine, And I didn't get to see if he realized and had an Ah-ha moment. Lol!
