Has anyone seen another SC on the road?

Today I saw an Accelerate Yellow (that highlighter maker color) convertible C8 in a parking lot and was reminded how rare spotting one in the wild still is nearly two years after the launch. When my wife had her super rare Volvo C30 I could count on one hand how many I encountered in traffic.

Very few in the Midland/Odessa area. I've had mine 6 months now and have just started to see a couple.

Saw one today in Tulsa, was driving right beside him, white same as mine, wonder if they are on this forum?

Saw 2 more in a couple small towns near me in south GA. A sage gray with a dent on the drivers back fender and a Hampton gray with a rack over the bed. That makes 5 or 6 now, losing count, LOL!!

I live in the St. Louis area and since the Santa Cruz has come out I have only seen 2 on the road. That's it. They are moving off the dealership lots around here so they have to be around but I'm not seeing them.

Just saw two today- one at the intersection on the corner of my grocery store and the other pulling out from curbside as we were pulling in. Another white and a stone blue. Blue looked great in person. Just confirmed my desire to get some color on my white with a partial wrap. 😂

All black on the north side of San Tan mall around noon today. Couldn't see what trim, it was a ways off driving the opposite direction.

I live in PA up by the Pocono Raceway; I've seen 2 (one was coming in to our development). I work in the Allentown/Dorney Park area. Dude i work with has a Limited in White. Until yesterday, I had not seen any, then BOOM! I saw 5 on my lunch break; 1 blue, 1 green, 2 gray, and 1 white. Even before i got mine, I was eyeballing them to try and pick them out; (get super excited because you see the light pattern of the oncoming vehicle only to be let down that it's a Tucson). Two days before I got mine, I had only seen 3 in total; driving mine home from the dealer? saw 6 of them going south on 33/209. I have yet to see a tan one in the wild.

While on vacation in Hawaii I saw two SCs and two Mavs. Seems to be the perfect environment for truck-lets like these as the roads can be narrow and everyone just pulls off in popular places to surf.

Finally, saw a second SC. The first was in a driveway. This time, it was parked on a street. It was a side street to the one I was traveling. At first, I assumed it was another Tuscon viewing but on second look, I saw the BED! Had to get turned around and get a closer look. I was a black limited and was parked across the street from a high school athletic complex. There were some softball games going on so I assume that's where the owner was.

I just took delivery this week on the 11th and I have seen two this week!

One was in front of me at a light and another was pulling out of an office complex parking lot as I was pulling in.

Now that the model year has been going for awhile sightings will likely increase as the herd grows larger. 😆

I just sold my 22 white SEL FWD when I was made an offer I couldn’t refuse and purchased a 23 Sage Gray AWD Activity Pkg for MSRP I live in Knoxville but purchase in Nashville cuz the dealerships here are 5k over. I’ll go to Nashville all day long

Since I first learned of this super nice vehicle, I had not seen one in the wild here in the Twin Cities of MN.
Since taking ownership 11 days ago, I've now spotted two—a grey (not sure which) and a black one. These are not very common yet!

Up to 3 now.

10 months of ownership and only have seen three. Latest was a nice looking Hampton Grey on 9/9/22 out in Santee, Ca. cruising down Mission Gorge road. 2 Sage , 1 Grey

I saw another in a parking lot. My wife thought I was nuts going over to check it out. I was another black, either a premium or SEL with an activity package. Had interesting letters that were black with white outlines. looked nice.

I was driving at night on the highway a few days ago and saw the familiar "waterfall" lights coming up behind me. Checked that there were only 3 rows of lights! Our vehicle looks pretty futuristic from front and rear at night. I didn't find the headlights blinding either.

Cruising through Lake Forest area in Orange County CA and as I crossed an intersection there was a white SC sitting at the red light. Gave them a peace sign through my window. Don't know if they saw it. Next thing I know I'm driving by a sign that said Hyundai North American Headquarters or something like that; near Moulton Parkway and Lake Forest I think (?). Anyone here?

I see multiple SCs every day at this point - probably 5 or 6. At least one is definitely a daily repeat, but it sure feels like a popular choice here. I live in a beach town with lots of day sailors, paddle-boarders, etc; so its also a logical choice, but I'm a little surprised to see so many this soon, particularly with limited supply.

Like a Pokemon game, I've caught them all - seen one of each color once, except two white. Not many!
