Just finished installing the hood deflector and OEM hitch to my Sage Limited. (Also the mud guards.)

Hood Deflector about 250. Hitch I got for 400. Got the KIA harness for the seven pin.

Are those screws on the hood deflector? It doesn't look right. If so I'll wait for avs to make one and cost a whole lot less than what hyundai wants for one

Those are screws; however, this picture seems to accentuate them.

FYI: The screws attach to retainer clips, not the hood itself.

There is no change to the cars hood. The screws go into clips that are attached onto 3m tabs.

I'm glad I observed this post before I purchased the hood deflector. I am disappointed that there are visible screws on the front of the hood deflector, I thought they would be on the underside of the hood so they are not seen. I had one on my Cadillac ATS and there were no screws visible, they were on the underside.

This picture was a big help for me deciding to go with film (PPF). Although I love the look of it, I hate the exposed screws.

I think this shows them better. Six screws that attach to clips that go under the hood.

General thoughts on the hood deflector vs protective tape/film?

I have the 3M - on the hood, front, quarter panel and side mirrors. Also same on my other vehicles.
Its a trade off, cost Vs appearance. I don’t mind having a cleaner look and not worry about any dirt getting stuck.
