Just got an email from my case manager with their offer. I don't know what they did, but the numbers are screwy.

Everything they gave me totals up to $37140.72 and I paid $39392.19 out the door.
The case manager said it was because they missed the downpayment, but my downpayment was $7500, so that's way more than the $2250 gap in the amounts.

But hey, if they want to pay me $44500 for a truck I paid $39400 for, I'm not going to stop them...
Back to the waiting game for audit to do their math again...

This problem with the lack of the availability of replacement parts is really hurting consumers, I am not certain any one manufacturer is any worse than any other, but Kia and Hyundai are certainly not helping their cause. If my Kia is ever sitting in a body shop for 3-6 months for repair, it will be sold as soon as I get it back.
Why would you wait for it to get fixed and then sell it when you could do a lemon law buyback after 30 days of it sitting there?

Turns out I was reading the sheet wrong and my math was messed up.
They are missing the downpayment, and once they add that, we'll be square.
Update: over a week since they were told they missed the downpayment on the offer sheet and I've heard nothing back from them.

How long does it take to add that to the sheet and send it back? Absolute clown shoes.

Well, either somebody at Hyundai is reading this thread, or the fact that I emailed my case manager to say that I'd start making calls up the chain if we didn't hear back from the audit team by mid week lit a fire under their butt.

I can't express strongly enough how much of a night and day difference there's been between working with the customer experience side of the house versus the finance side of the house. This has been brutal.
