Pre-order the all-new 2022 Santa Cruz

----

MARKHAM, ONT. (May 6, 2021) - Hyundai Canada is thrilled to announce the pre-sale of the highly anticipated Santa Cruz Sport Adventure Vehicle (SAV). Pre-orders for the 2022 Santa Cruz are now being received through Hyundai Canada’s consumer site by clicking here. Limited quantities will be available, and pricing will be announced closer to start of sales in the summer.

The highly-anticipated Santa Cruz arrives after first debuting as a concept vehicle at the 2015 Detroit auto show. This all-new category-bending vehicle bridges the divide between both SUV and truck segments, creating an entirely new vehicle class unlike anything in the North American market. The Santa Cruz SAV combines the flexibility of an open truck bed and the comfort of an SUV. Add seating for five, HTRAC All-Wheel Drive, and a vast array of advanced technology in one never-before-seen package, and you’ve got the first-ever Santa Cruz.

“With the Santa Cruz pre-sale, we are one step closer to this exciting vehicle coming to showrooms. We identified a demand among consumers for a new definition of versatile transportation. In typical Hyundai fashion, we rose to the occasion of surprising and delighting our customers with a bold new offering that blends the best of both truck and utility vehicle worlds,” says Don Romano, president and CEO of Hyundai Canada. “We know customers still value the secure utility of a compact SUV, but need the open bed possibilities of a truck. The Santa Cruz with its unique, bold design, creates an entirely new segment that meets these specific buyer needs like no vehicle before it.”

Developed to be the ultimate Sport Adventure Vehicle, the 2022 Santa Cruz provides boundless practicality. Hyundai’s early consumer research found consumers, many of them urbanites, required versatility including carrying various gear and equipment better suited to an open bed rather than a typical SUV bodystyle.

Santa Cruz boasts bold yet sophisticated design, powerful and efficient powertrain options, a flexible open bed for gear, cutting-edge connectivity and a highly maneuverable all-wheel drive platform that is equally at home in urban and adventure-focused environments.

Canadians can begin pre-ordering today with production beginning in June, but quantities are limited. For more information and to pre-order the 2022 Santa Cruz SAV, please visit: Pre-order the all-new 2022 Santa Cruz

Interesting that they only show 3 trim levels and all are 2.5T with DTC. Still no pricing either.

Is that all you can get in Canada?

From what I read and heard we only get 1 engine/drivetrain option in Canada. They will all be 2.5T and AWD.

Also appears in Canada you'll get different drive modes:
Go to 15:55... the US version has 4X4 Lock instead of Terrain Mode.

I wonder if there is a real difference or if it's just a different name for the same trick.
Possible, but the button is different which is an odd thing to change. Once they release the owner's manual you'll be able to compare.
