I had somebody break my back driver side door window and steal some stuff when they replaced glass I asked installer to show me how he got panel if he said it was nice just one screw under pad on door handle, unhooking door lock wire harness, then just a matter of popping off panel with nylon bolster too against door to prevent paint scratching and a heavier prying tool to pop clips out. I haven't tried it yet. Will update hope you door the same on here

Thanks for the information, doesn't sound too bad at all. I should have my speakers here from Crutchfield this week and may start this project next weekend.

Did it tidy easy but I didn't think this was a screw maybe sensor it was a screw, cracked plastic insert was able to fix though. Pop out the center of this button looking thing on door pull out screw. Was gonna do tweeters but the Rockford's I bought don't see how you could get any aftermarket to work crutchfield when I ordered all this didn't have mount adapters
So, does anyone have photos of hot to remove the door panels? also, do we know what that is in this picture?
There is a screw under that tab in 0icture, one more under armrest from there pop tweeter out, then use a plastic trim tool and pop off door panel very simple take about 5 minutes

I just put my rear speakers in but will tackle the fronts tomorrow. A couple of questions though. The rear door panel doesn't seem to seat as tight as before, is that typical? Also has anyone found a good way to secure the front tweeters?
Mine went back in fine, rub your hand around panel make sure there is no gaps I had a few spots that didn't latch all the way. On the tweeter the Rockford fogates I bought, I modified the piece that the tweeter sits in, so it fits between where old bracket was used original screws and added washers to catch the lip to keep it secured down, then applied a piece of gorilla tape over the top of tweeter securing it to the factory tweeter housing. Holds secure no problem you just will have to be creative that was the hardest part of the whole project

Front lowers and rears are in, the difference is amazing! I'll tackle the tweeters on another weekend when I have time to experiment with them. Does anyone have an idea where I'd start looking for the harness connector, I'd rather take that approach before I shred the stock tweeters to find the best solution.
last night i had time to do one door, tweeter and mid. just that sounded so much better., tonight i'll the passenger side and hopefully the rear doors.
