"Here in SoCal, only 28 are listed for sale. But all are within the Santa Cruz’s MSRP range of $25,175 to $40,905. Many of these dealers also stock base or mid-level cars. So you can find some examples under $30,000."
At least this dealer in McKinney TX has done some actual modifications to the vehicle for a $5k mark-up. I could see someone jump at a different paint job and wheels for a unique look. A dealer here in AZ North of PHX just got one yesterday and listed $3k in add-on addendums AND a $5K markup on an SEL.
Though this would be smart below if you could customize it. Instead of making arbitrary mods, figure out how to offer it as a package to interested customers. $5K for custom paint and wheels based on a selection book might be interesting. Though I wonder which part of the OEM warranty it voids...
It's just wraps ... and dealer-installed. Nothing there that should affect any part of the warranty. If it does, the dealer could probably be sued for voiding the warranty before the customer took delivery. I swear, if Hyundai would have offered a blue like that, I'd have ordered it regardless of my wife's "family curse" on blue vehicles. (It's best not to ask ... or argue. lol)
