A chips a chip, unless they have some kind of Matrix style way to tap into squirrel brains to handle basic computations and shove those under the hood. If so, anyone know how often you have to flush the pink biogel tanks the squirrels are suspended in?Perhaps there is some other 'unknown factor' that Hyundai has been working around, which will ultimately determine their final pricing.
Good theory. They might have been caught off guard by all the details of the Maverick launch. Ford had more then just the vehicle ready to show, they had the entire build-to-order site up and running, along with pricing and options details all laid out for the world to see. Hyundai is clearly playing catch up which could explain the delay.They may also just be waiting for the Maverick and Lightning hype to die down a little. From a marketing perspective, it is much more expensive (and less effective) to be heard amongst an uproar in the market.
