Made in America. Too bad everything isn't automated. A robot won't forget to tighten a bolt or add oil.

If it was the parts, then all of the SC would be broken. It is just bad assembly work by unskilled American assembly workers.

Aloha! I get your frustration Sir.

Perhaps it’s just to vent? But I don’ know what it accomplish’s with your post. Is it a warning to those that own a SC? I am truly sorry for the loss.

I have to admit when I read your title. I thought your were dying. So perhaps me seeing it’s just your SC is a lemon, isn’t as bad as it could be?

Again no malice intentions. Wish you the best and you recover your funds and mental anguish.

Aloha mike

You choose. Four different case managers. One bad transmission. One engine meltdown. This is parked just where I left it. Can't be a Hyundai owner anymore. What say you? View attachment 17221
Anyone who bought a Turbo with the DCT transmission was taking a chance on potential problems more so than the lower trims with the aspirated engine and regular 8 speed. Seems like you are just one of the unlucky ones.

That's funny. Coincidentally, in the last 18 months I've had a double bypass, been diagnosed with congestive heart failure and tested positive for colon cancer. I guess getting a lemon automobile is just icing on the cake for bad luck. Mt two previous Hyundai's served me well. This one is a major disappointment, but Hyundai's overall lack of concern is my biggest concern. I sincerely hope you never have to deal with Hyundai USA. I can beat my health issues. You can't win against corporations that put profits before customers. Good luck with yours.

I just hope my SC doesn't end up like the loaner I just got. The loaner had a bunch of dried up soap suds on one half of the car. I cleaned off the soap suds and there are a bunch of scratches going down the side of the car and a small dent.

The car wash machine scrapped the whole side of the loaner car and put a small dent. The employee drove off and didn't even clean off the soap because it was all scratched up. They gave me the loaner, but I saw some of the scratches and told the loaner agent about it. They would have blamed it on me.
