Why even bother trying to login? I’ve done “guest login” for years. You just have to be careful to make sure you choose the right car and year.

Genius level stuff right here! Never even thought to try guest login. Thanks for the tip.

Exactly! If I log in it tells me I have no vehicles registered. Logging in as Guest shows me the update for 2023 Santa Cruz though. Yay!

Does require a 64GB or larger USB stick, found a 128 I can use but didn't realize it was so big. It's actually 36GB of data it says.

Server load must have increased. 30 mins to download @ 3 MB/sec. Update: 20 mins in and less than 10% downloaded!
Mine downloaded pretty fast (I have Gb service), but taking a while to write to the USB stick. Hyundai probably has some weak sauce server hosting this though so once more than a few people try to use it the speeds crater...

Success. Map in Santa Cruz is updated today. Took 1 hour and 10 minutes in the vehicle to complete update.

Good grief. I have a NOCO charger that can output a steady 12V, I used that when updating my Jeep's head unit rather than leave vehicle running for that long.

Anyone know if the SC will stay in the "run" position without shutting itself off without the engine actually spinning?
Display on the screen said that system would keep updating even if the engine was shut off. I kept my engine running during the process, but the system told me twice that it was going to turn the engine off. I just stepped on the brake pedal and system never shut engine down.
FYI, I turned my engine off during my last update, and it completed fine.

Where in the Santa Cruz do you insert the thumb drive?
Can you update the vehicle without a thumb drive? Thanks!
No OTA update at this time. You have to use a USB drive. Plug it in to the USB/Data port (the one on the left).

Is this just the map or does it make the other radio interfaces changes, like getting rid of tubes display as well?
