If you were wondering if bikes fit with tailgate pad.

4 bikes, 2 on my Thule rack and 2 with my old truck tailgate pad that doesn't fit.

Would be perfect with a duo bike tailgate pad and a bike rack, or a tailgate pad sized for midsized tailgates can fit 4 bikes no problem.

My L stumpjumper fits with no cover straight, and a L Santa Cruz nomad.

Great to see bikes will fit without having to angle them. Did you remove the tonneau cover? Just wondering how much a pain it was to remove.

I never had one to begin with. I just ride MTB's and put my dirtbike in the back I saw no reason to get one that hindered that process.

For sure. I think I may only use it durring the winter and end up removing it next spring when bike season starts up again and see if I miss it.

Ditto! My Banshee Paradox V3 "XL" 29+ fits in straight using a tailgate pad. The SC without a bed cover can easily fit 4 MTB's straight. It's a sweat MTBer rig!
