Welcome… 18 years with one vehicle would drive me bonkers 🤪 get bored after a few years, on to the next…

Enjoy your new ride…
New guy here... Think i can do 18 years or more with one vehicle as long as I'm in love with the vehicle.

How ironic !!! I recently traded my 05 crew cab, one owner bought it new, seen here for the Santa Cruz, I do miss it already

Welcome! I drove two identical '93 Miatas for a total of 30 years and 360k miles. I'll never own another vehicle as bullet proof as they were.

I managed 20 years out of my Dakota. Once its paid off and keeps going with minimal repairs / regular maintenance it seemed silly to replace it. Granted it was my weekend boat tow vehicle with just 122k so old in years but not too bad mileage wise. My last daily driver (Nissan 350Z) I kept for 7 years and it was 7 years old when I bought it. YouTube and forums means someone always has what to look out for and the big fixes already documented. Just never been a fan of vehicle debt since its a depreciating asset.

welcome to the forum. i traded in my '05 Tacoma (215k miles) for the Santa Cruz. loved the tacoma but didn't want to drive the same vehicle for 30+ years. i hope the Santa Cruz will last as long as i want it to.
Thanks guys. I wish I got the limited for the 360 view to do funny vids with. Considering getting a lift/bullhorn and some off road tires. I got the SEL premium. Too bad the US doesnt' get as much options as the Canadian ones do.
The only thing they get that we don't are drive modes...and a door button.

I prefer our Southern neighbours to yours, we spell and measure different but at least we talk similarly

Mine has drive modes(normal, smart, sport, and snow), as well as the center locker. I have the SEL premium.
The Canadian versions have those as well as terrain modes, Snow, sand and mud

I may have some of you beat. I just sold my 2004 Cadillac SRX (105K miles) and traded in my 2012 CTS wagon (93Kmiles) on two SC Limiteds.

What was your reason for trading those??? Was it because Company Always Denies Lawful Liability After Collision?
Mine was Cheap Hardly Efficient Vehicle Runs On Luck Every Time.
The CTS was turning into a money pit and I got a great trade on the two vehicle purchase. I bought the SRX new in 04 and passed it on to my son. It was tired and I had too many cars.
Seems to be the way with vehicles since the early 2000s. My truck was a New England truck.
