I was already looking into buying a Hyundai Tucson but I'll also need something larger to support my weekend needs so maybe if the Santa Cruz is of a decent size and price, I can purchase both together and see if the dealership will cut me a deal.

Buying two vehicles at once is definitely a way to get a deal. You'll just have to wait to see when the Santa Cruz actually goes on sale. Otherwise you may be waiting indefinitely.

Don't expect the Santa Cruz to be much larger than a Tucson. The Santa Cruz is supposed to be based on the Tucson so its pretty much a Tucson with an open cargo area. The bed is only about 3-4 feet long, unless they do the extending bed where it might get to around 5 feet. What kind of activities are you into?

Just what I was thinking since there's just no way they'll go for something entirely new but instead with some 'carry over' things going on with the dots to that being connected right here.

Fortunately looking at a Tuscon in person gives someone a good perspective.
