AFTER THE POSITIVE RESPONSE TO THE HYUNDAI SANTA CRUZ CONCEPT, HYUNDAI IS EXPECTED TO CONFIRM PRODUCTION OF ITS FIRST UTE IN NOVEMBER.

I find it funny that the press is able to report that it will be approved for production in November, like why don't they just approve it now if they are going to do it in November?

CEO Dave Zuchowski is pushing for it's development and launch but the November approval date is probably there to give themselves a bit of time to assess it's marketability in the U.S .

At this point it seems like a definite, any no's might be in relation to things about it seen on the concept that we might not get come production.

Not just trucks but even some CUV's. Some of those CUV owners don't need all that a CUV offers but can settle for the SC which is still cool and has a bed you can use to transport what ever you need.
