Rattles

Has anyone noticed a minor rattle in the back seat area? I think, since I've taken everything out back there, that it's the two center floor mount seat belt buckles as they seem pretty sloppy to me. Also noticed that the dealer didn't take off all of the plastic off of them and there was a rubber band holding the plastic on each one (no biggie). I hate rattles and this one isn't going to get the best of me!

Check to make sure everything is secure with the jack and it's components.

Put it in the brunk a month ago. Now I'm starting to think it's the seatbelt buckle dangling againt the rear door. Gonna wrap it it a towel and see if that helps. Stone deaf in one ear so I have a **** of a time hearing where sounds come from. If I drop something I usually wind up dancing around to hopefully see where it went!

I have a rattle in the same area. When I go slow I can hear it. Rear passenger side of car. It is like a rocking back and forth noise. 2022 Santa Cruz SEL Premium

Any chance that it is the gas gauge float sloshing around and tapping against the tank when it's half full? If so, it should go away when full or near empty.

Someone else said their gas gauge was stuck after a fillup, so maybe that float has enough play to catch on something.
My brother took off the key tag and threw it somewhere in the vehicle. For days after that he was hearing a scrape & click, scrape & click... He finally figured it out. That tag was sliding back and forth in the plastic area he threw it. It was driving him crazy for a few days. :ROFLMAO:

No rattles, shakes or squeaks in ours so far.

Ha! Sounds like me... my rattle was the seatbelt extenders I added. Passenger side rattled when no one was in it. I took it off and only use my driver side now. Sure make it easier to plug in and unplug the seatbelt now instead of digging around down there.
I haven't had any rattles, but I did take out the jack as we get 5 years free roadside and have heard that rattles sometimes. As far as the rubber bands go, both out Santa Fe's had them on still when we bought them, and my Cruz also had them. Maybe the stealership isn't aloud to take them off? Or they just all be lazy. 😆
