Hyundai doesn't carry the 7way; you need to get it from Kia; the Telluride 7 way is plug and play. Also includes trailer brake harness. If you want this one order from online as it is much more affordable.
I just bought a roof rack that looks almost identical to that one for $99 from Harbor Freight. I'm ordering a can of rubberized bed liner spray ($12 Amazon) to rust-proof it. I'll post pictures when I'm done.
I'm looking at that exact roof rack on Amazon, how is it, pretty sturdy and the clamping system is solid? I got one like that for my wife's Santa Fe and it's surprisingly solid. I looked at Yakima which I have now but of course it won't fit on the SC and I really don't want to blow another $800 for another one or even a Thule.
Mine just came and I love the aftermarket ones, they are strong and sturdy for the price compared to the dealer ones which of course is way overpriced. I got them for my wife's Santa Fe and decided to cancel my Yakima order for the same aftermarket ones because they are solid racks. I like they are raised a bit higher which gives lots of clearance for both vehicle roof racks especially the Santa Fe one because it's a panoramic sunroof. I guess time will tell as to how these perform, yes, it does add a little wind noise but all roof racks do, my old Yakima was loud as well, no way around this.
