Considering doing the same thing, long with other "N" distinguishable markings.
Would love to be able to get the N logo on the steering wheel, headrests, and shift knob as well.
Are you going to add one to the grill also?
Might think about doing the grill, but dont want it too overboard. maybe put some Nline door liners too
If it makes you happy, that’s all that matters. I’ve personally never understood badging a vehicle as something it’s not.

Bump this thread... I want to see someone with a front grille N badge.... Thinking of putting this one on the rear tailgate for kicks.. can always remove it later on..

If you turned the “N” 90 degrees it becomes a “Z” which makes as much sense as putting the “N” on a SC. Plus, the “Z” makes as much sense as any other alphabet letter. Me, I’m going with the ”X”!

Generally it's considered childish.

Definitely not understanding this. Can someone explain it to me?
I agree...it's like putting an "M" badge on a non-M BMW. 🤷‍♀️

It's a maturity issue. Or a lack of maturity issue.
I think it just adds horsepower. Sign me up. 🤦

Should be on the right side, I wish they did an N-Line Santa Cruz.

I went with a Brenthon emblem embedded in polyurethane and lit with EL panels on the back.

I'm looking for an official Brenthon for my front grille like that but I Can't find one that goes beyond 230mm wide and I measured my need to be at about 245mm.
Any ideas? Because I'm thinking about starting a new thread just for that. Brenthon doesn't seem to have anything official for the Santa Cruz just yet.
Or, how could I get a Job like that done on mine?
I specifically wanted the 2G Brenthon (versus the 3G), and with that limitation the largest size I could find was 217mm.
Did you find a 3G Brenthon emblem (or any generation) that was 230mm wide?

Note that the shape of the Brenthon does not precisely follow the shape of the Hyundai emblem. One is slightly more oval than the other, so that in the end, even if you find a 245mm emblem, it will not fit super accurately.

That is why I built my own ‘backer board’ which I made out of plexiglass. I then cut that in an oval that was the proper fit for the Hyundai emblem dimensions and then ‘glued’ the Brenthon emblem to that. Actually, I just dropped it into the Epoxy Resin as it was drying. Pretty permanent for sure.

For extra fun I placed a Electroluminescent Panel behind the emblem for extra snazz during night time driving. I bought the ‘white’ color, but in the EL world, white is often actually blue, so blue is how it turned out.

In the end it was a craft project with a lot of learning and it was super messy. But I had fun with it and I think it looks good!

Here are some additional pics I just took:
