I wanted to highlight the V shape. On most cars I have had the straight body line continues along the entire length. I did think of adding one to the lower body line. Nice thing is if I tire of it a hair dryer and a little time and it's all gone. When i got my white one it has some pin stripe. I've been looking at it and trying to think if i want to check into some striping of some sort. If i were more technically advanced i would do some experimenting with photo shop.
Someone mentioned this in another post somewhere, think some inserts or something?Nicely understated highlighting. Has anyone done anything w/ the lettering on the tailgate? I was thinking of shadowing or something like that, just draw a little more attention to it.

To each, their own!I really enjoyed pinstripes...
...in the 1970s.
If a dealer charges for pinstripes or has them painted on, I walk. If they've vinyl, I'll peel them off.
Ebay Premium Vinyl Decals for 2022+ Santa Cruz Tailgate | eBayHow/where did you get the black lettering on tailgate? I was thinking of having my wife try to print some with her cricket.
Can you also share how you made these pinstripes? They are pretty sweet, not over the top.Thought I would enhance the body lines and make it stand out in a crowd. View attachment 2303 View attachment 2304 View attachment 2305 View attachment 2306
Ah ok, cool thanks!Ordered the pin stripe from Amazon,
Universal TFX 0003016 - Auto Customizing Dual Pinstripe - 3/16" x 140' (1/16” Stripe, 1/16" Gap, Then 1/16” Stripe) - 016-Matte Black. Just followed the lines around the body. Faded the lower part to nothing and allowed all to cross at the intersection and trimmed all the ends, which looks like a buckle.

I agree 100% and the local man that did my work did an excellent piece of art!I had a 1973 Porsche 914 that was black with orange and red pin-striping by Shaky Jake. Man that guy could pin-stripe anything!

Pin-striping done right can really add something special to the right vehicle.
