Looks like you might be blinding the oncoming traffic when they are up and to the left like that. Hate to say it, but I would be readusting them to look more like the picture of wolfeprop9599.

Error codes caused me to dump using LED taillights too. Just wasen't worth spending those big bucks to get a set of really good bulbs. Maybe those bulbs are just defective from the start what with that odd pattern. Those bulbs seem kinda wonky to me. Sometimes I just chalk it up to the old adage ... ya get what you pay for. 😕
