What helped me with this is installing the bulbs while they are "on" (I know---be careful!) And having the vehicle parked up close to a wall or garage door. Then you will see your adjustment and beam pattern immediately.

I understand but maybe rotate them until you see a more even pattern. It's possibly upside down or just not in correct.

I don't know Gary. If a bullet is crooked from the start the end result is off target. Why would this be different?

Now getting the dreaded hyper flash error on the cluster from these LED's - so going back to halogens for now.
