I am wondering about the security. Recently read an article about the kia/hyundia being stolen because of the usb port and push button start. Anyone know if this has been taken care?

Toyota and Tesla were also affected - not just Hyundai/Kia. Had to do with the encryption being cracked on the Texas Instruments chip they all use. Used? I would have thought by now they'd have fixed that. Most of what I could find on affected years ended around 2019.

Like Walking Black Bear said, the only thing I could find was on older models.

Could you share the link to the article you read?

Sounds like we're talking older models, pre-push to start? All but the SE SC have prox keys, and I'd assume even the SE's standard key has some immobilizer logic baked in these days?
