In regards to the DCT problems being brought to attention on this forum, I decided to look into other Hyundai Motor Group forums of vehicles that utilize the same 2.5T and 8spd dct powertrain. It is much more difficult to find wet dct issues in relation to any of them in comparison to the Santa Cruz. Coincidence?

If I’m not mistaken, the only difference between the dry and wet DCTs is the wet clutches themselves in order to avoid the overheating problems of the the dry DCT, but everything else is more or less the same.
