Went out this morning and tried to open the tailgate. The locking mechanism sounded as if it was unlocking, but quickly re-locked. I tried using just the tailgate handle, just the key fob and tried unlocking the drivers door first. Same result. The weather here is about 20 degrees F, but that still should not happen. Any others experience the same issue?
