What did you do to your Santa Cruz today?

On another car forum I'm part of there is a "What did you do to your __ today?" People post mods, use, maintenance, etc. It was a cool place to see what all was available for your car and how it came out.

So I'll start this one. Today I installed a Tonnosport cover ($296 from Realtruck.com), Auxito LED headlights (Amazon), Weathertech front floor mats (also Realtruck), and hung a full size spare in the back (Palisade rim from eBay).

The Tonnosport was a pretty easy install with my 6 year old's help (she's handy). The mats and tire were super easy, the lightbulbs were kind of easy. I went down from the top and did a lot of wiggling, but got it done in about twenty minutes. Some rubber gloves for better grip helped as well as being pretty good at using both left and right hands. Expect some minor cuts and scrapes on your forearms though.

Here's the Auxito listing: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07WMG4...abc_5NXQPDGQYDG130T1DGPW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I have a car was membership for my SC and wife’s Lexus. They never get dirty. It has a ceramic rinse.
Finally got the hood deflector, bull bar and fog lights on.

Took the SC in for rustproofing/undercoating treatment, also interior fabric protection. Lots of ice and salted roads in the winters in this state. They also treated inside the door panels so we can't roll down the windows for 3 days now until it cures, so we don't get the windows gooey.

Also put in the second tank of gas. Nice to see our avg MPG a little above 26 mpg around town here. Not bad. Wife and I are going on a little road trip tomorrow so we'll see how it does on the open highway.
What fabric protection? That sounds like a great investment.

Just like last year, a MAFFS C-130 Colorado Air National Guard from Peterson AFB in Colorado Springs was making practice runs over Salida Airport practicing for fire season.
They are hard to see in this photo, but the MAFFS C-130's have large dayglo orange numbers on the side. This C-130 is number 5.

Nice shot! We have quite a few C-130 and SkyCrane tankers stationed out at Mesa Gateway airport here in Phoenix as well. Probably going to be another tough fire season this year.

It was one of those offerings by the Dealer at the time of purchase. I dunno, hopefully I didn't get suckered into it, but living in Minnesota I definitely wanted at least the undercoat rust treatment ('cuz you know—Minnesota roads get a heavy dose of road salt in the winters) and the fabric protection option was just not that much more. Covers stains as well as rips/tears/punctures/burns for 7 years. Want to keep the new baby looking nice!

There is definitely other less expensive options but as long as you are satisfied that is all that matters. It does not matter what other people have to say.

I simply cleaned the windshield, then went for a ride to test out the seat cushion I purchased from Amazon.. Well the cushion did not do the job... so it on it's way back to Amazon for a refund...
Installed this trim panel from @AssctLLC
Very pleased. Trim panel install probably took 10 minutes.
