What did you do to your Santa Cruz today?

On another car forum I'm part of there is a "What did you do to your __ today?" People post mods, use, maintenance, etc. It was a cool place to see what all was available for your car and how it came out.

So I'll start this one. Today I installed a Tonnosport cover ($296 from Realtruck.com), Auxito LED headlights (Amazon), Weathertech front floor mats (also Realtruck), and hung a full size spare in the back (Palisade rim from eBay).

The Tonnosport was a pretty easy install with my 6 year old's help (she's handy). The mats and tire were super easy, the lightbulbs were kind of easy. I went down from the top and did a lot of wiggling, but got it done in about twenty minutes. Some rubber gloves for better grip helped as well as being pretty good at using both left and right hands. Expect some minor cuts and scrapes on your forearms though.

Here's the Auxito listing: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07WMG4...abc_5NXQPDGQYDG130T1DGPW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Final push before Overland Expo.

I wanted the rally armor mudflaps, but I really like the OEM mudflaps. I didn't want to pick one.

@AssctLLC no drill light bar mounts, put up a 42" slim single row curved led light bar (what a mouthful). That took about 5 minutes to mount.

Actually yesterday, but 'Break In' oil change at 1400 miles, and a wash. Installed sunglasses holder in the driver side grab handle spot.

Woke up this morning to a disgusting yellow coating of pollen. Guess 12 hours of clean is all I get for a while.
@Bansh33

I just installed the sunglasses holder too. Gotta see if it’s going to stay as I hit my head (6’2”) craning to look out the window (was up) to insure it was clear to pull out. Time will tell. Like it though. Cleared up space in the front charging pad area so a few knots on the temple maybe worth it. 😂

I can see how that could be annoying - as a short guy, I've got head room to spare even with the seat cranked up!

Experimented with a new tire coating and application method. Very pleased with the results.

Performed "spring cleaning" in prep for better weather: full decon, paint correction and re-applied graphene coating on body and wheels. Treated all plastics and dressed tires, clay barred all glass and treated. Interior detail slated for next weekend.

For those that are going to ask: cable is for charging dash cam batteries. They charge while driving, but I like to start the week with 100% charge.

Picked up some Romiks on a Saint Patrick's day sale ($400 shipped). Got tired of my kids climbing the door sills to get in. Install took around an hour and a half with getting the changed from work, putting the car on ramps and cleanup.

Installed Curt 13486 hitch, waiting on the wiring and some brackets to come in. I hope I don't have to uninstall it to mount the bracket.
There was a gap against the frame like others were reporting with this hitch. It wasn't a big deal because the gap had disappeared by the time all the bolts were torqued down.

Put in the console organizer and got a cover/protector for the key.
The belt clip and leather I had. The cover is 2 piece soft clamshell type of thing and the bright blue means it won't easliy be able to hide from me.

Tailgate protector. Didn't affect the tonneau cover at all. Don't know why they're supposedly not compatible.
