Today I used my SC to return some ski gear to a buddy. While I was unloading gear a guy approached me to ask about the SC. He said that he hadn’t seen an SC before but had seen the Ridgeline and thought that was an ugly truck too, haha. He then pointed out that it can’t haul a sheet of plywood. I corrected him and pointed out how it’s done. He said “that’ll never work.” Haha. I’m sure glad he was able to put me in my place. I should sell my SC and buy an F150 evidently :ROFLMAO:

So I must have been hallucinating when I brought home three sheets of plywood day before yesterday.

PS: the tailgate latches are a great place to hook the ratchet straps to when the gate’s half down. They’re a lot stronger than the rings on the bed floor. The rings are rated for 400# IIRC.

Picked up a 1946-49 walk-behind tractor with a Clinton 700A engine project.

It's going to the ranch house for eventual restoration and fun duty. Came with a multiple "J" hook howe and single plow, plus an extra set of wheels for a sulky. Stopped by my local lawnmower shop and we found a gas cap that fit in his box of old loose caps. Should be a fun project, that can also tow my 4X8 wagon around.

But remember, the Santa Cruz isn't a truck!

Got to about 90* Tuesday in SoCal (sun flare?), but the beach had a nice cool breeze at sea level. Walked the HB Pier to the end and back. It was warm up there above the water level. Lots of surfers and beach goers out for a weekday.
