night time driving...the red ( Classic B) works well with your eyes ( I watched toooo many WWII submarine movies!) ....first Beemer I worked on ( a long time ago) had white face gauges ( like Classic A) but had red lighting at night...I assume ( makes an A$$ out of U and Me) that you can adjust the brightness???
