It's all a waste of money, just like the tailgate stickers everyone has. I think that's a waste of money and isn't my style at all but people can do as they want. It's their money.
Just like buying 22" wheels and a lowering kit will be a waste of MY MONEY, and I'll be smiling over every speed bump and pothole in town.

Why lower a SC... it looks great at the stock stance...what a waste of dollars....
Why install:
1) A tonneau cover.
2) A 4 pin towing harness.
3) A dash cam.
4) A console tray.
5) A lock in the bed storage bins.
What may be a waste of dollars to you isn't to others. What you spend your dollars on may be a waste to others.
Bottom line: Why do you give two sh!ts about what people do to their own SC with their own money?

well I guess that's right... I guess stuck both feet in my mouth...LOL...
you are right each to their own.....

over and out....

Sneak Peek (rendering) Kinda demonstrates the 'why'.

Eibach posted some months ago about a forthcoming Pro-Kit lowering package for the SC, but no word on a release date as of yet. 🤷‍♂️ The pics in their post give a good visual of their kit with stock 18" wheels (definitely needs at least 20" wheels IMHO).

Looks really good to me... however:
Note: Installation of the Eibach rear shock is required to replace the factory Nivomat self-levelling shocks in order to lower the vehicle. Eibach shocks are not self-levelling.

Bit of a bummer but kind of expected. Wish they just had a relocation kit.

However this does confirm the rear shocks are Nivomat units:
