So I'm reading that Android Auto just came out with it's new overhaul redesign update
But I don't see any change yet for me...anyone else? I'm interested in the split screen for Nav and Music.

Patiently waiting as well. Here's hoping Pixel phones will get it first ;)

Got it a couple of days ago. Works pretty good. Looks different.

All of the stuff about my phone (charge level, notifications, etc) is on the bottom right rather than top left.

Has 4 shortcuts on the bottom middle now. They change based on what apps you're using the most.

My Pandora doesn't flash the song title at the bottom anymore when I have Waze open. It only shows on my dash screen now.

My phone is a Pixel 7 Pro.

So, I must've got another update. I now have my Pandora song info back in the bottom bar when I'm using Waze again. If I tap the Pandora icon, next to the song, I go back to having the 4 shortcuts. 3 days ago, those shortcuts were there, but I couldn't see my song title while using Waze.

I've got a Night (so SEL level -- not the infotainment Limiteds have) and noticed no difference in the look and feel of Android Auto at all. My CS hasn't had any updates, though. Not sure if there's anything on that side of things as well.

I might need to reboot my phone.

Pardon the screen, it doesn't look that filthy in person... but yea this is the new AA. I'm not particularly fond of using it in this car as the stock interface is really nice. Although I will say that my PlexAmp app streams music from my server at full resolution when plugged in vs when connected over Bluetooth, so there's that. If I can just figure how to lose the "Android Auto" section there on the right...

So my phone says AA was updated on Jan 11, but there is still no difference....there is an update notice on my screen which I can't get to work but I don't think it relates to
AA...or does it? Did you guys have to do anything special to get it to work? I have a pixel 6. I uninstalled and reinstalled I rebooted..still no difference....ugh

One of the design features of CoolWalk is that it is adaptable to different screen sizes.

There is a picture thread on reddit here:

beta program is full of course, i'm always late to the party lol tried side loading the new version, Coolwalk UI won't activate because I'm not a 'legit' beta tester...grrr, guess I'll have to wait til we get the actual final update.

I'm glad someone else is getting the same results, was starting to think I was was high on something. I don't have the newest update yet for my 2023 but I can get full screen via Android Auto dev mode hack, works perfect but I actually like the split screen as I can scroll on the right panel my music, calendar and weather.
