Did you finally break down and purchase the long coveted Santa Cruz or what? The implication is there in your post but it's not entirely clear. If so...CONGRATULATIONS!

Now what, of the top six contributors, three of them did not possess an SC:, JMII, JAsmith and until now(ish) your good self, does this now mean all your wise sage comments will be barbed with real world experience, its good to know those valuable works of art I've seen hanging on the walls in this Forum, since I first explored its galleries in late August, are genuine, and have provenance.
Congratulations - you picked Toad Green, er Sage grey too, very apt.

@_metafizik, yes I did. I had to go over to the beach (Wilmington) to get one as it rolled off the truck. The picture was taken in the parking lot of the Oceanic restaurant on Wrightsville Beach.

Again, congratulations @ToadVine. I could tell the photo was at the coast but wasn't sure where. How was the wind at Wrightsville Beach yesterday?

We'll definitely have to meet up sometime & bond with our unique vehicles.

Thought I was going to have hold a workshop for a few of you to show you how to locate and purchase a SC. As @PK 62 said we still have a couple of long time members that have not pulled the trigger for whatever reason. My offer to help with that is open.

I was on the northern end of the OBX Wed & Thur and a wind gust ripped the door out of my hand. It made an awful noise when it came to a stop. It sounded bad but everything seems to be OK. 😯

Hopefully @JMII will be enjoying a SC like we are one day soon. ¯\(ツ)/¯

That's a good looking cruz you have there. Was the roof rack a factory installed item? Please post more photos.
